Who will be the winner?

Abbey and I were looking at old family pictures  yesterday and she saw this one of her Dad and had to seize the opportunity.

After washing 14 towels every two days, I had to post a little reminder.

I TOTALLY get extra credit.  I don't know why I deserve it, I just want some.

  1. Love this Sarah! And the note from Abbey about the short shorts! I just had (another) conversation about short shorts with my Madison! : )

  2. I've been going through family photos and found my oldest son with short shorts -I think he'd be embarrassed just to see it now. But that was really the style! The basketball players all wore them.
How would you know how many towels are going down the laundry chute in two days? Are you the only one doing the laundry?
Actually, I know the answer to this towel question: Someone doesn't want to take the time to hang the towel up properly and just "chutes it." Bet it's a boy...

  6. Your #19 pounds cracked me up! You know everyone will be checking in every 10 minutes to see if you had the baby. Hope you have someone on standby to post the minute you have...HER: 8#, 9 oz ;)

  8. Wait a second....do you have an anniversary this week? I kind of remember it being the same as mine...or maybe the week before.

  9. 6 lbs 20 oz is my fave.

  10. I'm TOTALLY hoping you don't have a 19 lb baby.

  11. I am the same with towels. My kids look at me like "poor woman just needs to get a life and then she wouldn't obsess so much about something so insignificant as towels." but towels can fill up a washing machine fast! I personally loved your sign. Fight the power!

  12. Love your notes.

And Abbey's note to her dad cracked me up- we've told our girls they would be horrified to see what we wore in the 70's. With tall knee socks no less!

Can't wait to hear that your *baby girl* is here:-) 8 pounds 8 ozs. How's that?

  13. 19 pounds is the winner!!

Some of your boys look just like their father, that is so cool.

My older sisters wore the most scandalous short shorts and skirts in the seventies, and they turned out just fine :)

    I'm guessing girl - 8lbs 2 oz
