Happy Birthday Andrew!

Andrew is 10!  Andrew is such a great fun-loving kid, and such a helper.  Jeff and I joke that Andrew could survive for weeks by himself.  He knows how to get around town, how to make his own meals, how to operate just about every appliance-he learns quickly and observes and takes in everything around him.
He hears everything also-he cracks us up with his ability to catch the little things and then bring them up at dinner.  (The teenagers aren't fond of this trait but we can't help but laugh.)

We love you so much Andrew!  You have brought such joy to us all!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

  2. All your kids are gorgeous, but that Andrew just steals my heart. I think it's because he is dark like my Andrew and radiates fun!

  7. You've had a birthday shout HOORAY! We want to sing to you today. One year older and wiser too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!
Sarah: You may want to tell Andrew that my kids picked up one of his phrases from ages ago and they say it to eachother all the time...I've even found myself saying it once or twice....
"You don't have to be a jerk in the butt." Do you remember posting about that?

  8. I so admire your blog. You always seem to have everything together and in order. As a mom of 7 yr old and twin almost 3 yr olds, i aspire to have such order. My house feels like constant chaos and I never feel like I did everything I needed to. How do you make sure with 5 that they all get enough one on one time. I never feel like I manage to do that well.
