It's Fall!

This is how I spent the first day of fall.
Inside in air conditioning because it was 90 degrees outside.

But we still did this:

  2. Look at that face! Does he love his Mama, or what? It is finally cooling off here-stormy, windy and will be down in the 50's for a couple of days. Winter is coming.....ugh- Diana

  4. Looks yummy! It was 82 here but that is still 82 too many, I'm ready for my favorite pair of jeans and snuggly hoodies and sweaters! BTW....would you want to host a giveaway for me? I'd be happy to make you something for your trouble! :o) Let me know.

  5. What sweet picture! Just love Patrick's face! I don't think he cares much about the weather when you make treats like that!

  6. What did you bake? It looks so yummy. I have no idea what 90 is but it sounds pretty hot - wish you could send some of that to wet drizzley Scotland!

  11. Sarah~ Everything about your blog makes me just gush. I strive to have a home and life that is like yours with family as the focus and living life by being good to ourselves and making fond memories for those around us. It doesn't always work, but I keep following you and your family because I know it can work as long as I try each day. Your blog always makes me smile :)

  12. I just needed to tell you that something about the way you speak here, well write really, but your voice and words and heart....just draws me right in and I want to keep coming back for more. I feel inspired by your truthfulness (is that a word?) and your family stories and I can relate to almost everything you say on some level. I don't know how I discovered your blog-but I think God led me here for a reason. I leave with a smile or a thought to consider or a sense of peace each time I come here for a visit with you. If you ever wonder if sharing yourself here is worth it...I would say yes. Thank You.

  15. Your blog is inspiring to me. When I pull up your page, I find so many of my sentiments put to words. It really gives me satisfaction to read the words of others who feel like I do. Thank you for your time and effort in keeping this blog going. I really need it.

  16. He is just adorable!!

Can I ask you what type of holders you have on the inside of your cabinets for your spices? Looks like a fabulous idea that I could use too. ;)

  17. It was 90 degrees here in Utah too! What the heck, fall... aren't you supposed to bring nice, refreshing, cool breezes that ruffle the beautiful colorful leaves, and make me want to wear a light sweater? Nope, I've been wanting to go to the pool. Nice. :)
