A Few Of My Favorite Things

I thought I'd share a few of my favorite things, summer edition!

HOME:

I did a "how I clean" series on my Instagram stories and shared some of the things I used and many of you had questions about the vacuum I was using.

Shark Navigator Deluxe Upright Corded Bagless Vacuum for Carpet and Hard Floor with Anti-Allergy Seal (NV42), Champagne

Shark Navigator Deluxe Upright-$149.99

My vacuum.  I used to have a Dyson and loved it but it broke.  I bought a cheaper vacuum and it is an actual improvement on the Dyson.  I love that all the pieces and parts can come and part and be cleaned.  There are a couple of filters for dust that can be washed in soap and water, all the hose attachments can be removed and this vacuum sucks the living daylights out of my carpets.

I have tried the more expensive version of this Navigator (it's called a Lift Away-I garbage picked it) and I didn't like it as much as this older model.

Siga Microfiber Cleaning Cloths-$10.99

These clothes will last a lifetime and are worth it.  I also LOVE these microfibers.  I have the ultra cheap ones but always reach for these because they are thicker and just work better.

Rubbermaid Reveal Mop-$43.17

I have tried SO many different mops and not one of them ever beats this one for me.  I have hardwood, not tile, and I just love the ease of this mop.  No big bucket to haul, nothing to plug in.  I fill the bottle with whatever I like-mostly just water, maybe a little vinegar or window cleaner, or anything that smells good too.  The kids can use it also, easily.

PERSONAL:

BPA Free Water Tracker Water Bottle-$15.99

My favorite pretty water bottle I use every day.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter-$25.20

The most delicious smelling body butter.  I use this on my feet and legs before I go to bed and it really helps summer sun dryness and sandal feet.  I didn't get a pedicure this year and my feet stayed so soft and uncalloused using this, so I justify the expense-and you only use a little bit. I also love the strawberry scent in this body butter.

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar-$11.99

My favorite scent ever.  I consider this "my perfume".  It's like summer all year.  SO GOOD!

GREAT DEAL: As of now this spray is a part of a special Amazon deal, where if you buy $20.00 of certain personal care products, $5 is taken off your cart.  I threw this spray and some deodorant/antiperspirant and toothpaste for all of us in there to get to my $20.  THERE ARE A TON OF PRODUCTS YOU USE EVERY DAY SO CHECK OUT THIS GREAT DISCOUNT.

KIDS:

Stride Rite Kids' Evelyn Sneaker

Stride Rite Tennis Shoes

I have been buying Janey Stride Rite shoes forever.  Because velcro shoes are my favorite for little kids, and Stride Rite's really last without the holes the older kid's tennis shoes get.  I've never had an issue with Stride Rites!

Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

LOVE this book for the kids, and for me.  Discovered it this COVID season where a great teacher at our school would start her class out with each day's reading.  It takes a verse or verses from the Bible and simplifies the text with current language into a short prayer.  It's beautiful.

Boar Bristle Brush Set

I bought this brush set for Janey because she is a hair screamer-you know what I am talking about if you have girls with long hair with apparently extremely sensitive scalps that are tortured if you don't use the softest touch possible.  She loves it. (And I do also.)

Chargers For The Kids DO NOT STEAL MINE-$14.98

On going issue in everyone's home with older kids isn't it?

Frozen necklace bead set-$9.89.

For a certain little girl's birthday coming up, I threw this in my cart-a small, fun craft in a case-BINGO!

Bloom Kendama

Bloom Kendama

Lotus Kendama

Isaac's company, Lotus Kendama, just restocked their $20 Kendamas-get them now, they won't be back until before Christmas when they sell super quickly.

Only $20!  Such a great toy for all ages, a skill builder, improves hand-eye coordination and concentration.  It's a world wide rage and they have online tutorials and even competitions.
