A Little To-Do List For Kids and Parents

This is such a great list to help us cultivate independence in our children. Sometimes I think we have all found that what children learn in school isn’t always the most practical for daily living-one day they will have to maintain a car and a home, and all that goes with it. How empowering it would be if our children could be confident in practical life skills.

Thank you for sharing so much with us! I have followed you for awhile and truly have learned so much — thank you!!!! The last post about schooling really hit me and said to me — it's going to be okay. My oldest sounds like your oldest and fret about him okay, but I know deep down he is going to be a great adult. He just had ACL surgery on Friday and now we are trying to figure out the school thing (3 kiddos) — one day at a time and I'm focusing on cherishing these moments (one daughter is practicing her manicure skills — that is a bonus)!. Thanks again.
