Sweetie Pie

Janey has been cracking us up lately with her funny faces.  I tried pigtails the other day-I don’t think she or her hair is ready for that next step. She sure looked cute though-but a little too old-Isaac texted me the last time I posted a pic of Janey and said, “She looks like she is five!”  She is such a sweetie and so content and happy.  I finally was able to find some boots for her little feet and we can get outside in the mud.  And the teeth-finally in!  We are both relieved.

Matthew made his Confirmation last week and Abbey stood in for Isaac as his sponsor.  In the rush of making sure everyone was ready and looking nice and able to endure the long ceremony (i.e. had full tummies) I forgot to grab my camera battery on the way out.  Darn.

Happy Spring!  It has arrived!  The boys played outside all day Sunday and what a difference it makes.

She is truly adorable!!! We've had rain (and right now it is hailing/snowing – what is going on??!!) but my boys have also been outside quite a bit (with the muddy shoes on the porch as proof). Wanted to say that although your uncle's team lost the game yesterday, it was a wonderful and exciting game to watch! Our UCONN team was right before it, so lots of exciting basketball to watch…very heartbreaking to see MI lose those last few seconds, but they played such a great game! And, although UCONN is my #1 (alma mater and all), I have to say it was wonderful to watch the MI vs KY game and see all those untattooed arms. I hate that most of our players have tons of ink – so sad.

She is adorable! Your first picture really makes me miss that age. My daughter made a similar face…so full of fun…she is bursting with happiness!

She does look awfully grown up in that second picture! What is it about pigtails that makes them look so grown up! I have a sweet little one who is just two weeks older than Janey and I was just saying the same thing about pigtails to a friend. Anyway, she is precious! And I am happy you have finally found Spring–though your Spring is probably like our winter (Florida girl here).

Ohhhh the cuteness!! I love the pigtails!! Our boys played outside yesterday too–but would you believe they were already saying they saw mosquitos??!! I mean, don't those things die at all? And so the mud, sweat and bug bites begin! Happy Spring!

I adore little girls in piggy tails! My daughter is almost 7 and still wears them. I think I will cry when she doesn't want to anymore!
