We used every Duplo we own.  A work of art is what it is.IMG_2175

After all the hoopla of Christmas, Patrick needed some hours with mommy.  It made all the difference in the world.

I can't believe how much Patrick has changed in a year. Love his smile–pride and contentment.

Adore It. We are using all our leggos this week to make a construction "something" this week too. I often have our kiddos do projects like this. Very Fun. He has such a sweet smile on his face.

It looks just like the City Museum in St. Louis! Very impressive, and one of my favorite places, too. Our kids got the Lego game, Creationary, for Christmas, so we've been building some interesting things, ourselves. Great game for kids (and parents), by the way.

We made block towers too…although the fun of towers these days is knocking them down in about 5 seconds flat!!
    Enjoy the day Sarah

My boys all love blocks! I wanted to pass along something to you that my youngest (8) bought yesterday with a Christmas gift card.

It's a sticker book that features all the Lego characters with reusable stickers and he was busy with it all day!

What a happy little boy….Yep, those few hours alone work miracles, don't they? It's hard sometimes when you have a big family to divide your time and the kids really miss their one on one time when we get too busy for it. I've been trying to take mine to the store or on errands. Even though I'm doing other things, it's great sitting in the car and talking just to them on the way there and back. It does a world of good.

I really needed this reminder today. Thanks. I am feeling a little guilty for not playing more with our kids…I'm going to try harder.

He's looking older Sarah! But I'm sure you already know that. He's so cute. I feel like I've watched him grow through your pictures.

I am drowning in a sea of tiny Legos. Those Duplos look like heaven! Sweet construction job, too. I'm digging that slide-thingy!

ps- When did Patrick up and get big? Not allowed. He looks like a KID!

Wow, those pictures brought me back to when my boy was little like that — and loveloveloved his duplos. I typically go a little overboard buying good, sturdy toys that my kids really like, and then typically have a tough time saying goodbye to them. Still have a tub of these, with no happy-faced little boys to use them anymore. I could mail them to you… we have some cool indians/teepee and firetruck/police car/ambulance and slides and of course blocks, blocks and more blocks. Let me know. 🙂
