I’ve been reading so much this summer but these two so far are my favorites. I LOVE historical fiction. It’s my favorite. Dates and politics and all that jazz don’t mean anything unless you make history personal….and when it’s all put into a good book…I can’t get enough.
me too- have you read The Help by Kathryn Stockett- awesome book.
As I'm obsessed with Hawaii, I'll have to check these out!
I LOVE the new banner. What a cutie!
I've never heard of that author, but I know what's next on my library list now!
Yep! I'm a reader too. Love the banner!!! Diana
historical fiction is my favorite also. I'll have to check these two out. BTW- I love the new header!
I soooo wish I loved to read! I just need to find the right kind of books I guess…maybe I'll give these a shot 🙂 Thanks !!!
Love historical fiction–I blasted through most of Phillipa Gregory's English royalty books this summer. Have to check these out– I heart Hawaii too!

I love these book suggestions, just what I need.

Oooh thanks, I need a new book! I just need to make sure they're not depressing. It's hard to find good books that aren't sad, and I just can't get into sad books anymore.
Just bought BOTH of these books on my Kindle!
Thanks for sharing your reading favorites. I need a good book. Have any other suggestions?
I love your new header, awesome!
Hi Sarah,
Historical fiction is absolutely my favorite too. Thanks for sharing these, I will jot them down. I've never heard of them.
We used to live in Hawaii! Will have to check those out. Have you read anything by Jane Kirkpatrick? She's one of my faves.
oooh I've never heard of these. Thanks, I'm fresh out of reading material.
I read Honolulu as you suggested, and requested our library to get Moloka'i. (they had one and not the other… weird. 😉 Thanks for the recommendation! I really liked it! Have you read Lisa See's books?
