Matthew took this photo.

New purchase: Popsicle Molds. Great for Smoothies.

Abbey’s excellent hide-n-go-seek-in-the-dark hiding spot.

That’s Jeff on the right coaching basketball.  Can you tell his team is winning?  Also notice how no one is paying him any attention.

And last but not least, wouldn’t it stink if someone dropped a piece of toast on your back and you didn’t notice and walked around for hours?  How embarrassing!!!

We love hide and seek in the dark too. It's one of our favourite games next to tickle monster (where hubby or I go around with our eyes closed and try and capture our children and tickle them.) Our kids seem to climb up to the top of our laundry cupboard to hide….I on the other hand would just break the shelves! I think I will keep to hiding behind couches and in wardrobes 😉

The dog was just saving it for his snack later. I love seeing dad's coach. My hubby has been the soccer coach for years, and just this past season, one of the players mom's told him, while watching the gold medal game of the season which the girls won, that she realized he actually knows what he's doing out there. Wah?! Coaches get no respect.

Please ask Abbey to get back into the cabinet and take pictures of her climbing (or falling) out-I couldn't imagine how she did that. I love great hiding places-too bad that one's gone-shame on you! Aren't moms sworn to secrecy or something?

Love the hidey hole, but how in the world did she get up there?! The picof your son up on the counter, helping fill the containers, made me feel so much better:) My youngest is constantly on the counter, "helping out". Love your blog, just found you a couple of days ago:)

Your husband is grey just the way Brad is.
The part I loved about Abby's hidey hole is that the cupboard was clean enough to photo and publish. Not surprised!

That first photo of your little guys messy face brings back fond memories. Reminds me of when I used to give my kiddos Gerber Bitter Biscuits. I would sit them in a high chair, strip them down to a diaper and bib and give them one of those biscuits. It was like gooey, beige mud when wet and beige cement when it dried. One of those almost always required a bath afterward. You have a lovely family.

Love the smoothie Popsicles – we make 'em all-the-time! IKEA has great ones for cheap right now – I stock up every year. I cleaned out Daughter #1's room yesterday and had 3 bags – yipee! Today is my closet and bathroom. Thanks for kickin' me in the rear! I'm loving it♥

LOVE it! The b-ball one esp. gave me a good chuckle with your caption 'notice how no one is paying attention' when the coaches were obviously so enthusiastic. Rriceless!

Did the dog really do that? Mine would have killed himself trying to eat it off his back:)

Can't believe your daughter fit in that tiny space. 🙂

Love the pictures – especially the commentary!

Thanks for the clothing advice – just like you, I had maybe two or three outfits other than my school uniform growing up. My older sister and I shared a small closet and a dresser. I honestly don't remember them being crowded. Something to learn from that for sure…

What fun for Friday! I love the fact that Isaac (or is it Andrew?) is sitting on the counter…my brothers and I were notorious for doing that as kids. In fact,w e learned it from our mom! My grandmother tells this story about how my parents had just moved into my childhood home and my mom was 9 months pregnant with me, and was standing on the counters putting things away on the high shelves in the cupboards. My grandmother said it just about gave her a heart attack to watch it!

And I am just as equally amazed at Abby's hiding place…wish I were that young and lithe to crawl into such a great hiding spot!
