The Holy Water is Andrew’s from Vacation Bible School.

I have poison ivy so bad on my arms. This is only the 2nd time I’ve ever had it. But it’s killing me. And it’s ugly. And it itches so bad at night it wakes me up. That stuff doesn’t work so well. Maybe the Holy Water would work better?

I love the holy water idea! Do you think you can overdose by drinking holy water? Hmmm…. 😉
Good luck with the poison ivy. I've never had it, but I imagine it's anything but fun.

I had no idea holy water would help you get through dinner/evening with kids. I will have to get some.

UGH. Poison ivy is the worst. I haven't had it forever, but my husband gets it every summer because of our hedges. he swears by tecnu. that's stinks that its not working for you. Try the water and a few glasses of wine!

Ha ha, the Holy water in the medicine bottle is a crack-up. I'm thinking you might not want to drink it straight–you should dilute it with some fresh lemon juice, vodka and sugar.

I'm with Joy. Not that God needs any help, it would just stretch the holy water out in a cooler, sweeter, and non-sober way.

    Get well soon. 🙂

I was feeling kinda blue today, but then I read your blog and smiled. I just love it here. It's like a front porch at a great neighbor's house, always welcoming where you feel free to come and go. Thank you. I really do look forward to each post.

I have been reading this blog for a few weeks now (LOVE it) and had to respond to this post. I thought I was the only geek with Holy water on my kitchen counter! I swear! Now I too have a rash–but due to a sunscreen allergy–maybe the Holy water will work on that? LOL!

I think I know someone who has some ointment from 1994 that might help your poison ivy!

I, too, love holy water and hate poison ivy!

The best cure I've found for poison ivy is time spent in a swimming pool. The chlorine seems to dry it out really well.
