It's amazing how all of our stories are different, and how we can each learn from them by not comparing ourselves when it comes to motherhood, as well as those of us who sacrificed a degree in staying home. I love being a stay at home...after a day of hard work, it truly is the best job ever. Mostly it's a tiny prayer I used to say when they were tiny babies and I wanted to be sure they'd be safe at night. I've found it's still reassuring now that they're grown. Thanks for the beautiful comment.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17361133234032864767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-7173842478783370922014-06-20T14:33:53.559-04:002014-06-20T14:33:53.559-04:00Thank you Denise! I have five relatively young kids at home, and it's hard to imagine doing something else...being someone else. But, like you said, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, and enjoy the role I have now as a stay-at-home mom :)Emily Norbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09741675198466373711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-91133353611615270112014-06-18T22:27:01.010-04:002014-06-18T22:27:01.010-04:00I love this series. I just wrote a post complaining about my looming return to work… and reading this helps me see that EVERYONE struggles to make their dreams a reality. The one thing I have found since both my girls are gone, and we are empty nesters most of the year is that my job now is to pray for them everyday. Don't get me wrong, I did this before. But, now I have more time, quiet, time to truly focus on them in prayer. I can't think of anything better to do for them during this stage in their lives.Simply LKJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691860606573110974noreply@blogger.com
