I totally agree with your description of August and September - I always get a little pit in my stomach when a new school year rolls around. I'm sure it's a "new normal," but so very happy for you that you have this time with your family, and grateful you are continuing to share your wisdom with all of us! You remain in my prayers for many, many more years of health and happiness!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17360823130564779037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-9787112860076061312018-08-15T21:45:13.906-04:002018-08-15T21:45:13.906-04:00We have the whole set of Childhood of Young Americ...We have the whole set of Childhood of Young Americans. Our kids loved those! I've also read It Was Me all Along....I think I need to get it again from the library. I remember it was really good. I just read Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance for my book club- very interesting, and touching. It's about a man who has overcome many obstacles to become successful in life, and what he's learned along the way. You might like it. We have also read The Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday life by Tish Harrison Warren. She is a protestant minister, but much of what she said is totally relatable to Catholics, as her denomination is also very liturgical. It was good food for thought. One other one-- One Beautiful Dream: The Rollicking tale of family chaos, personal passions, and saying yes to them both by Jennifer Fulwiler. This one had me laughing out loud at times, and was so good!PamLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18366662163369627552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-15120175881465688582018-08-15T07:47:49.774-04:002018-08-15T07:47:49.774-04:00Your thoughts about summer ending are spot on.
