My oldest is in kinder and I went a little crazy this year, I think I got it out of my system though hopefully for next year it will be slower. I completely agree on how fast paced lives don't work well for children. Thanks for providing a stay at home mom focused blog, I need every one of these posts.Colleen Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16447627756775855784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-13819128611422749412011-05-19T22:28:37.627-04:002011-05-19T22:28:37.627-04:00That is such a cute photo! That is such a cute photo!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-54499955826272118412011-05-19T22:20:06.763-04:002011-05-19T22:20:06.763-04:00I NEEDED to read this today. Sometimes I think that our younger kids sort of get the left-overs of time and attention. Not purposely of course, but just because life seems to run away from us. But like you said... it's not fair... every child deserves our best. I love the days when my little guy and I can have time just the two of us during school. He is my side kick and when we do go out we can never ever be in a hurry, because he is so busy and curious about everything. He is very excited for the kiddos to all be home over the summer-he misses them terribly during the days. 1 week!luvnmy10https://www.blogger.com/profile/09164832406300940298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331752969086770281.post-70898010624388631402011-05-19T06:46:39.381-04:002011-05-19T06:46:39.381-04:00We keep counting the weeks here, one more to go af...We keep counting the weeks here, one more to go after tomorrow. Luckily I've read some of your other posts regarding this need for us moms to be aware of our children's needs to slow down and to recognize when things are getting too rushed and busy for us and them. I remind myself of this often and always notice a difference when I slow down and let my little guy take his time and not be rushed. Luckily I like to take things slow also and not make myself busy all of the time.Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17602884580010448897noreply@blogger.com
