My cousin sent me a picture from her east side home and yes, there was snow. Like enough to require a shovel type snow. Bring on the S.A.D.!
Wow. I wont complain about our 50 degree weather anymore!!
Oh no. We went down to Waco for Homecoming last weekend...so glad I brought Katie her jacket...it was a blustery 30-40 degrees the morning of the parade.
Noooo! My kids kept alerting me that it would be cold enough to snow today and I just put my fingers in my ears and sang "La la la la!" at them. I refuse to start dragging out snow gear before November! Re. Fuse.
Ohhhhhh how jealous I am!!! Is it me living in the South? Is everyone else commenting living up north and tired of all the snow??? Just send some down our way!!!! :)
Tonight is the first night in probably 6 months that we have had the doors open and the air conditioner off. I love reading blogs from all over the country, it gives such perspective. Wouldn't trade 60 degree nights like this for anything--but I wouldn't mind them to come a little sooner. When does that start up there, mid August? Fall greetings from Florida :)
Your comment cracked me up. I went to college in Maine and, snow or not, it was a point of pride to wear flip flops until Thanksgiving break. Despite being inappropriately dressed, weather wise, for most of my 4 years there, I did grow into an adult who values wool, Thinsulate, thick socks, and windbreaking jackets.
lol, hope my kids grow to appreciate warm clothes too, we are in so. cal.my daughter spent the summer in yellowstone working...she ADORED it...even though snow in august...such a thrill!
I know! I had a few friends with their snow pictures...it's just too early!!!!
That's crazy! I'd have to move, I'm complaining about Virginia weather, I couldn't take snow in October!
Oh my gosh! Nooooo! :( This only reminds me of what is coming sooner than I would like. Right now we are having lovely blue sky, 70 degree, October days. :)
Oh how I miss the cold, cloudy, snowy days and actual seasons! I'm commenting from sunny always 70ish San Jose, CA. :-)
