One of my favorite quotes is similar, it is very simple, "If you wish to be happy, be." by Leo Tolstoy I do love these ideas that our happiness in this life depends greatly on our attitude and acceptance of our current situation. Thanks Sarah! Have a happy Easter week, a time to have joy for sure.
oh my gosh! I so needed to hear that today....I am so guilty of living in the future and I have to say it is exhausting and depressing! I am going to print this to display to remind me to live in the moment and enjoy. Thank you Sarah! xo
So true. My son's family have a daily ritual at dinner time where everyone has to tell everyone else "What was the highlight of their day" it makes them search for some small thing that made them happy on that day.
Oh wow, I need to put this someplace I will see it every day. I am very guilty of thinking "Won't it be nice when...." I should spend more time appreciating how nice it is *right now*.
Oh Sarah- How I needed this!!! I could tell you how awful life is right now, but I think that could be anyone else's story, too. I've been living for the future when I've been needing to live for the now. Thank you! Thank you so much for putting things into perspective! You have such a great way of doing that!! I'm going to put this quote where I can see it almost every moment possible! Thank you!
Amen!
